So far, THERE IS NO OIL on the West Coast of Florida. Last Month was a fantastic fishing month. We did mostly overnight trips (100 miles out). The Red Snapper fishing is incredible. There are more Red Snapper than ever. We have also been loading up on Amber Jack (largest one was 100 pounds). Grouper fishing is starting to slow down for the summer a little but King Mackerel is prolific. At night time, the King Mackerel circle the boat in schools.
Overall, the fishing this year has been the best I've seen in the past 20 years. |
